Our Team of Advisors



Daniel has over 17 year’s experience as a Financial Adviser and Managing Director of Peak Solutions. Daniel founded Peak Solutions in 2005 and merged with his father Robin’s advisory business, Financial Directions in 2009, in planning for Robin’s eventual exit from the business into retirement. Daniel gained invaluable knowledge from his Father’s 40 plus year’s experience in the industry and was honoured to continue on with the longstanding client relationships Robin had established.

Daniel has a strong focus on customer service and providing innovative, bespoke solutions for his wide customer base. Daniel has continued to grow the business over the years, with special mention to the longstanding relationship with Kilworth’s in Ashburton and more recently to the merger with Paul Wilson & Associates.
Daniel’s clients are long term and loyal reflecting the trust they place in his judgement.

Daniel is passionate about the financial advice industry and the value it adds to his client’s lives. He believes in tailoring solutions to client’s specific needs. His approach is centred around developing long term investment plans with clients and guiding them to ensure they achieve their financial goals. He maintains a deep understanding of the investment products available and the Economic environment they will be invested into, to ensure the best client outcomes possible.

Outside of work, Daniel is a passionate about music and is the co-host of a weekly show on a local independent radio station. Daniel’s other passions are his partner and two young daughters.

Paul is a Financial Adviser with over 30 years experience. Paul has built up a very successful practice over this time by providing exceptional customer service and considered investment and insurance advice. Paul has a diverse client base throughout New Zealand and around the world. He has a strong referral network which reflects his competence and the trust his clients place in him.

Paul’s client focussed approach is all about breaking down the complex world of investments into simple digestible advice that his clients understand. He has a deep understanding of the investment environment both in New Zealand and globally built up from a lifetime of industry experience. He believes in continual learning to ensure his knowledge is always up to date.

Outside of work, Paul has many passions, ranging from fishing and wine to football and the All Blacks. He also has two adult boys and a partner who works in the financial services industry.

Jody has been a Financial Adviser since 2011, with a banking background working for one of New Zealand’s largest banks. With a diverse client base she grew relationships with her clients that are still strong today.  Her clients ranged from investment clients to large commercial companies. She assisted those clients with international trade deals, commercial and personal banking which is where she got her passion to help people realise their financial goals.

Prior to starting at Peak Solutions, Jody owned a successful advisory company which assisted clients with advice around lending, KiwiSaver and growing their wealth. Over the years Jody has built up networking groups and assisted many New Zealanders in finding a way to realise their financial dreams. 

Like many New Zealanders she spent many years travelling the world, leaving her small hometown at the age of 17 to venture out and learn about other cultures and expand her knowledge. On returning to New Zealand, she undertook her qualifications to become a financial adviser. 

Outside of work, Jody has a keen passion for the outdoors and exploring New Zealand.

Sandy has worked in the investment industry for a number of years, both in New Zealand and London. She has worked across the spectrum of the industry from large global investment banks to small boutique advisory firms. She loves the hands on nature of working in a small firm and making sure our clients have the best possible customer experience.

Sandy is responsible for administration and the upkeep of client portfolios, attending to buy/sell orders and monitoring cash management accounts. She loves helping clients and assisting our advisers to ensure great customer outcomes. 

Outside of the office, Sandy has a very busy family life with teenage kids taking up a lot of her time and energy, with a particular focus on competitive trampolining and horse riding.
